Ingredients

Original

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups rice krispies cereal
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Variant

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 cups cinnamon toast crunch
  • 2 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in vanilla, then fold in cereal until well coated.
  4. Press into a greased 13x9” pan with a buttered spatula.
  5. Cool and cut into bars.

Notes

  • Tip: Grease the spatula before pressing — butter wrapper or waxed paper works too.
