Ingredients
- 1 large apple
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter (see note)
- 1 ½ tbsp honey
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- vanilla ice cream
Directions
- Cut apple into small cubes, discarding core and seeds.
- Melt butter in a medium pan over medium-high heat.
- Add apple, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Cook 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples soften slightly.
- Cool a couple minutes, then serve over vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Tip: If using salted butter, omit the pinch of salt.
