Garlic Sauce

Creamy, garlicky, and bright — a yogurt based garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise (full-fat)
  • 2 tbsp plain greek yogurt (or regular yogurt)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp za’atar seasoning
  • pinch of dried oregano

Directions

  1. Smash garlic into a smooth paste with a mortar and pestle.
  2. Combine garlic paste, mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, za’atar, and oregano in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep sealed in the fridge for up to 5-7 days.
