Ingredients
- 4 wooden or metal skewers
- 1 lb ground beef (85/15 or 80/20)
- 1 cup onion, finely minced
- 1 tsp garlic, finely minced
- 2 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
Directions
- Whisk spices together in a small bowl.
- Combine beef, spice blend, garlic, and onion in a large bowl.
- Mix until combined. Cover and refrigerate 30 min.
- Form beef into log shapes around skewers, pressing to adhere.
- Grill over medium-high heat, turning once, 10-12 min total (165°F internal).
Notes
- Oven: Bake at 350°F for 15-18 min.
- Wooden skewers: Soak in water 30 min before grilling over open flame.
